Description
Yamaha Quick-Release Fuel Cap
A lightweight, precision-machined quick-release fuel cap designed to replace the original Yamaha fuel cap. The bayonet mechanism allows fast opening without a key or separate tool. A short rotation guides the cap securely into a clearly defined locked position.
ARP SafeVent System
The fuel cap features the proprietary integrated ARP SafeVent system. During normal operation, it continuously equalises pressure inside the fuel tank.
If the motorcycle is overturned or fuel enters the ventilation system, the safety mechanism closes automatically and prevents fuel from escaping through the vent passage.
The complete system is integrated directly into the fuel cap and operates independently of the motorcycle’s original external venting system.
Materials and Construction
- main body CNC-machined from high-strength EN AW-7075 T6 aluminium,
- black or silver anodised finish,
- SafeVent housing manufactured from corrosion-resistant 1.4301 stainless steel,
- internal shut-off element manufactured from brass,
- fuel-resistant FKM/Viton sealing,
- precision bayonet mechanism with a clearly defined locked position,
- long-term tested design.
